TCPMP config question

Hey all

If any of you read my saga from a few months ago my PDA broke a few days AFTER the warrenty expired. Long story short the screen came yesterday and I sweated an hour with tiny screws and an exacto knife to get the old one off and get this one on, but it works great and i can finally enjoy 5.0, which by the way, is really neat.

Anyway onto the question:

I have always used TCPMP for all my multimedia needs, and while its a fantastic video player, the controls do not lend themselves to playing music. Is there any way to get a next track/previous track button so that I do not have to use the menu if I want to change, or what I usually do is just hit the very end of the slider bar and it ends the song basically immediatly. Kinda ghetto.

Or should I just get PocketMusic too (not my dish, PM has caused annoying issues in the past and it just seems silly to have separate apps on a small device).

Thanks for any help, even an alternative suggestion for both video and audio would be nice, I will check anything out at this point. I hold no loyalties in the PDA world ;)

I'm glad your transplant worked out. happy aximizing!

I'd check out mortplayer for music. It has some great new skins, with big buttons that are easy to see and use on the fly like in a car or in the gym. I know it doesn't answer your question, but It is what I would do. :)

you can set up hotkeys to any button on your pda as well as set a button to turn off the screen. it's all in the settings menu.
