After much searching of the net for the correct settings I have now got VLC to stream live broadcast to WMP9 on my X5. Well at least the video, the audio will not work so Im after some more help from you guys.

The video is set as WMV2 and the audio is set as MP3 with encapsulation set as ASF.
The broadcast method is MMS using a local IP on my lan.

If I run WMP10 on my laptop the video and audio streams are spot on, unfortunately only the video works on the X5 WMP9 no audio.

A post I read form a guy with the same problem suggested changing the out statement to WMA codec in VLC. This does produce audio of a kind but its just high pitch squeels.

Anyone had problems with streaming MP3 audio to there X5 WMP9 and if you did how did you fix it.

BTW I can stream audio and video using WMPencoder 9 to the X5 with no problems. TCMP also works with no problems but the video with VLC and WMP9 is much better.
