Kapiolani, the developer in Korea made new mp3 & ogg player named "winamPAQ ver 0.91".
It can be applied with winamp 2.x skin(*.wsz) for its skin.
audio format : mp3, ogg.
button setting
: button 1 : Play
: button 2 : Stop
: button 3 : Pause
: button 4 : Screen Toggle
: up & down button : Volume Up & Down
: left & right button : Prev & Next Track
: Action button : Play/Pause Toggle

It works fine with my Axim. I haven't tried it with headphones yet, so I can't comment on the sound quality.

What is OGG mean?

is this better than Pocket Music?

Ogg Vorbis is a different audio compression scheme. It's better than mp3 at lower bitrates (~64kbps) and patent-free and open-source. More info here.

And just because someone always asks, *never* convert an mp3 to ogg. It'll end up sounding worse than if you just re-encoded from the original source.

YES! Thank you all, I grew up with WinAmp, and now with Audiograbber I can rip to Ogg Vorbis, a standard I like much better than Mp3. BTW sounds on headphones are great. Love using this forum

What do you think of the freeware PocketMusic?
Thought I'd throw this one at ya to have a look see. Haven't tried it yet myself, I still think WithMP3 is the cat's meow.

I like PocketMusic alot better actually, Its got a nicer interface IMHO and I've never had &quot;problems&quot; with it, the enhanced version also lets you use winamp 2.x skins which is cool, I think this will be my media player for awhile now.

1. what is a good site to get mp3 skins, i myself never used winamp i always used a program called sonique or the creative playcenter.
2. which program does everyone like better the winampq or the pocketmusic, ir is there a better one? i think i might go with pocketmusic

I tried WinampQ, but couldn't get around the issue of all my titles coming up in Korean. I tried everything I could think of, but it bothered me. I found PocketMusic and am hooked! I've been using it now for a couple of weeks and really like it. Looks just like WinAmp and the sound is great!

My vote is for PocketMusic!

Once again, will this player support streaming mp3 , such as ShoutCast or live365?

So far, the only player I've found that will stream mp3 is the GS Player. It would be great if the the WinAmp PPC version would play those formats, too.
