Worried Copying Video Files from CDs to Axim

Hi Axim Owners.

I was wondering if anyone could give me instructions on how to transfer video files from a CD to the Axim's Window Media Player? I downloaded several video (movies) on a CD and I tried to transfer them to the Axim without success. I tried to transfer the vidoes/movies the same way that I transferred my music files, but that didn't work. Any advice or help would be appreciated. I have the Axim X50v.

Thanks in advance.

. Welcome to Aximsite. Search is your friend. There are several good threads that tell you how to do this and which software, mostly freeware, that you can use for the job. After reading the threads in multimedia, if you have specific questions, I am sure there are folks here who will help. good luck and

You need a card reader to transfer large files.

You need TCPMP to play the files.

To continue the "You need" theme of the previous replies:

You need a fast PC to re-encode video.
You need patience to re-encode video even then.
You need a large memory card to store these videos on.
You need a larger memory card to store both videos and music.
You need a good set of headphones.
You need extra batteries if you want to play more than one long movie.
And learn to search this site; your third membership anniversary is coming up after all ;). This sticky thread in Multimedia is a good starting point.
