is there an mp3 software that sorts the songs by artists/album?

I'm using GSPlayer right now, and while its rock stable, unlike pocketmusic, it's song sorting stinks.

So does any program sort songs properly?

I thnk the question is, do you sort your music properly. Most media players will sort by artist and albums if that is how you have your subfolders setup...MortPlayer does this...

If you have id3 tags on your songs, then a program like TagScanner can quickly set up a directory structure for you. Then, that directory tree can be used in a program like MortPlayer. That's what I do and it works great. I don't miss my iPod at all!

As long as your mp3s are properly tagged. The latest version of Conduits Pocket Player catalogues all the music on your device and lets you select music by album, artist, genre.

i'm an idiot..

how do i use this program?

there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of help info out there.

if i have tons of mp3s in a folfer, it should be able to scan and set up separate folders by artist and album, right?

i just can't figure it out.
