TCPMP black screen but sound!

This problem has just started.

If I pause or rewind it works fine!

Using WM5 with latest version 0.71

Maybe a bad .avi?

When I play a movie with TCPMP occasionally the screen goes black/ blank but the sound continues.

If I rewind a bit, the picture plays fine.

Few mins later, same again.

Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this...

The only thing that I can think of is that something possibly in your settings got changed. Go to Settings-> Select Page: Hot Keys. Make sure that there is no Hot-key assigned to screen on/off, if it is assigned it could be possible you are pressing this btton. If that is not the problem look into other settings options, I am not sure if they would be the same as mine as I am on an ipaq but there are a lot of options and it could be possible one of them has a timer on the screen.

no i think he means just the area of the screen where the video was playing. I experience this too. Mostly on my microdrive.

I get the same thing. I think its a bug. When I switch to landscape all is fine and then switch back is fine too. It really only happens when I start the movie that's already loaded when I open TCPMP. Of course, I never watch in portrait mode so I couldn't tell you if it just goes black after a while. But I've watched many movies (landscape) and never had a problem.
