AVI and MPG

Hi

I've been trying to play avi's on my Dell axim x51. I transfer them over the a memory card no problem. However, when I try to open them using Media Player they won't run. They run no problem on my desktop machine. I'm puzzled. Can anybody help?

Hi

I'm sorry to be dim but which file do I load into my Axim. There are a few in the link:

http://corecodec.org/frs/?group_id=5...se_id=224#r224

I take it I load a file into axim and then run it? I downloaded tcpmp.setup.0.71.setup.exe onto the axim and it said it wasn't a valid application.

Can you help further? Is there a link for a step by step appraoch?

I'm also puzzled why the Media Player on the Axim doesn't play AVI's. I thought it would by default?

WMP is rubbish... Use TCPMP.

Download the .cab file(s) and copy it to the axim. Tap it in File Explorer and...voila!
