Video conferencing (video receive only) for WM5?

Hi folks,

I'm trying to use my Axim to view realtime video streaming off a PC (likely coming from a webcam). Super low latency is critical - but that's a major stumbling block when using "multimedia" encoders (i.e. windows media encoder). So, I turn to video conferencing.

Are there any videoconferencing applications out there for WM5 which are compatible with standards-based systems (i.e. H.323, H.263, etc.)? I'm not looking to send video from my Axim (though that'd be cool too), but primarily receive video from my desktop PC. Even something like video-enabled IM would probably work out well. Anyone have any tips?

Thanks!
Jeff

I haven't tried it yet, but I used to use Microsoft portrait. Worked really well on my old iPaq. If you can find a cf or sd camera, you can do two way video.

View MyPDA
Theres also ViewCommander Mobile. But you probably won't get any sound from your webcam.
