Streaming wma or mp3 to PDA

OK, I have a large audio sermon library that I update every week for one Church in Toronto, CA. Since I bought my axim x51v I would love to add a feature to the site, so anyone with the PDA can listen to the sermons online, on their axims palms or whatever ( maybe even cell phones )

At this moment the site gives the user 2 formats - wma and mp3. Neither work on the axim in a streaming format. I would like to set up the site to the point where anyone who can take the axim out of the box, without installing any codecs or so - be able to go to the website and listen to the sermons via MS Media Player. ( on the PDA )

What would be the easiest solution? Add link with a specific file format? If so, which one? Is there any way I could play on those already done formats ( wma & mp3 )

any ideas would be appriciated,
thank you

ADDED:
I have tried to add ASX link to the WMA, but whenever I click on the ASX link, my axim actually OPENS the file in a "text editor" ( it does this same thing with mp3 and wma ). Whatzup with that ?

but you see, I want to add a link to a website, so no one will have to mess with "open url" option, but simply click on the link - and stream.

you would need to create an "ASX" file and incorporate the link within your website ...etc

have a look at these info :)

Hey Kazkin, yeah I did it, but then my Axim opens the asx file instead of "running" it. Any solution to that ?

not quite sure exactly what you did wrong ... sounds to me like you have a "file association" problem .

if within that "ASX" file you did correctly embed a link to the real file MP3, WMA ...etc...) ... WMPlayer should have opened it

maybe others can guide you better then I can ...

in short ... you need to associate the "asx" extension to be open up with Windows Media Player ... :)

The server will need the correct MIME settings for the asx type.
