volume way too loud with anything but wmp

hey guys, I'm having a problem. Listening to my earphones (Sharp MD33), the volume is wayy too loud listening to any program aside from WMP. I've tried GSPlayer2, MortPlayer, and PocketMusic. It's the same with all of them. I've tried adjusting the system volume, and the volume using X50mix, still far too loud. with WMP I can listen at 25-30% and the volume is totally fine. is there anything I can do to adjust the volume? WMP is not the greatest player ever, but I can't use anything else! also, my earphones are very low impedence, so that has something to do with it, but at the same time there should be a way to lower the system volume further than where it currently is. I had the same problem with my X50v when I had it.

thanks for any help

Have you changed the volume setting by the clock. Its the louspeaker thing by the time. Tap it and then move the slider to one before the bottom.

Turn off the pre-amp. :D In GSPlayer, it's under Options->Advanced, IIRC. I haven't used MortPlayer in a while, so I can't tell you exactly where to do this. Everything else, save WMP, uses pre-amps by default (except TCPMP), which means that instead of system volume, you get.. well, it's good if you've got earphones with high resistance.
