Cool How do watch Video...

Hey,

Been lurking a couple days, but now I got a question. I am getting my axim in a few days and now I got a couple Q's.

1. I want to upload movies to my axim. How would I go about doing that?
2. What is the file type would I use? I want it to be a rather good quality but still as small as possible.
3. How much would the file size be for say a 1 hour video (with sound)?
4. What program would you suggest I use to watch the movies on? I would like the program to be free if at all possible.

Thanks!
-Cory

1) search these forums, i've been here 10 minutes and already found about a dozzen threads about doing this
2)Divx is probbably the most bang for your buck (even if you dont pay for the bang)....
3) i've gotten Montey Python and the Holy grail down to almost watchable quality 90 megs.... but it'd be around 100-150 for deecent quality.

4)look in the downloads section of this page. its the one i currently use

You could use Active Sync to copy and paste the video files onto your Axim, or you could buy a card reader (if you want to use a CF or SD card).
If you want to use the Windows Media Player that comes with the Axim, then you would need .wmv file type.
I have a copy of Shrek that is only around 89 MB, but my copy of Lilo and Stitch is around 141 MB. So it just depends on what kind of quality you want.
There are only two truly infinite things, the universe and human stupidity; I am unsure of the former.
