How can I convert standard MPEG-2 recordings (CBR, 44.1khz audio) that are about 2.4gb/hr. to be usable on an Axim X51v in Windows Media Player? Also, how long does it take per conversion on a system with specs like mine (below)? Finally, do I need any pay programs for it, or can I find some freebies?

EDIT: So, what are some good earbuds for the X51v, or does it include some? The link you gave is perfect . How high a quality can I go and have loss-free decoding on the Axim, though? EDIT2: NM, looks like 475mb or so is fine...

EDIT3: Does AutoGK use multithreading for dual-core CPU's and dual-processor systems, or is it only single-threaded? EDIT4: Looks like it's only using one of my cores, is there a way to get it to use both? Oh well, at least I could do basically anything while it's doing it this way .
EDIT5: Well, I guess VirtualDub is multithreaded ! LAME isn't, but this still will make the overall encodes per night much more .
