Settings For DVD Catalyst

Can someone share their best settings to convert DVD to x51v using DVD Catalyst?

I have a 2gb CF card and a 1gb SD card.

Do I use xVid or DIVX, bitrates, etc. I want the smallest size with best picture quality obviously.

Thanks!

I'd like to give you some unsolicited advice. Do with it what you will. Look in "my pda" and check out the Fairuse Tutorial. Use it to convert movies for your axim. It's easier to use.

For DVD Catalyst I use (Mobile Divx5) with video set at 500Kbps and audio set at 128Kbps which gives great results.

Open the application - Mouse over the cat eyes. See how they change colors? Click them and a window pops up. Click the forums link in the window.

I'm telling you this ... simply because the forums link has the recommended settings listed on them, and they get updated when new builds come out if things change. I'm also recommending this, because depending on the type of movie/show you are converting, the settings will vary.
