All of a sudden, my X51V powers down while I am listening to Windows Media Player. If I turn off the "On battery Power: Turn off device if not used for...." it doesn't happen, but I like this auto turn off feature. It didn't used to do this.

Before anyone suggests using a different player, I have not been successful using a different player for streaming audio.

There must be a setting for this somewhere, I just can't find it.

Um...I think you just said that the reason this is happening is because you have the ' On Batter Power: Turn off device...' thing checked. Isn't that what you said? If you have that checked then you have your answer. I use my x51v to listen to books while I drive, I just disable the auto-turn off, and instead, I have it dim after 15 seconds so it doesn't use so much power.

It didn't used to turn off while I was listening to WMP. It would time off if I just left other apps running. Maybe I was lucky before?
