GSPlayer keeps losing settings (help)
I installed GSPlayer on my CF card and it keeps losing the settings, button mapping and skins.... I have installed the fake server trick and it is still doing it? Do I need to install it in the default location? IS there some other fix for keeping the settings?

There shouldn't really be anything weird... GSPlayer just uses the registry (I know, I've made a plugin for it). Have you tried quitting the program normally (file -> exit) and see if the settings are kept the next time you run it? It shouldn't matter where it is installed... and it should even keep the same settings IF you move it (since the registry doesn't care where the program is).

Thanks for the reply.
I tried exiting and opening it again and it would lose the settings. I uninstalled it from the compact flash card and reinstalled it in the default main memory and have not had a problem with it since then. I guess I could try uninstalling it and reinstalling on the CF card and see if it behaves the same way. | ||||||
