Question Download video clips?

I'm still new to all this, and have only had my x51v for 1 week...

I want to download and view video clips. I understand that I can't watch video from sites likes youtube from within PIE, but is it possible to download clips first and manually open them with WMP?

If so, how can I tell the browser I want to download instead of open links? These Axims have download capabilty right? Do I need extra software to download? On a side note, is there any way to download and install .cab files within my Axim?

I'm running WM5, AO6.

re: ..video..

Bump.. sorry, I'll only do it once. I really need to know if this is possible. Being able to download clips and play them on the spot would add some functionality to my Axim.

Anyone?

yes you can download and save to a memory location in order to play whatever clip you download you must have the proper player tcpmp along with wmp should cover pretty much most file types you are capable of playing

How exactly do I download a .wmp from a link within a webpage? I'm using PIE, and don't see any option to download from a link. In regular Internet Explorer, if you right click a link it gives the option to download instead of open the link.

Hmmmm... I figured out you can download files, but only if the page uses the correct language. Maybe PIE doesn't play well with java, or flash, or something. Really sucks too, because many of my favorite sites won't work. You can't download video from youtube for instance. We need to get this fixed. Anyone know of a browser that will work with an x51v?? Do alternative browsers let you download from sites like youtube using non-wm5 devices? Doesn't this bug anyone else?
