Why would you need a ripper? Fairuse does everything in one shot. Just put the DVD in and it will convert everything as required.

Here are some tutorials:

thanks Gigi - i misinterpreted the initial screen on fairuse as source rather than save to (note - it will not let you store to the dvd! LOL). got it right now and gonna fill my new 1 gb cf card for the weekend at work.

I personally like dvd shrink and dvd decrypter. Dvd 43 isn't bad either.

I've never heard of DVD43. Does it replace DVD Decrypter?

Oh my bad! I've used it a few times when I couldn't get some of the other programs to work. This seemed to work like a charm. I don't know if it will work on everything though. I haven't found the cure all program yet.

I usually use it as a last resort kind of thing and cross my fingers that it will work. So far I've been ok.

I was unsuccessful on finding the correct download for the core AKA tcpmp and I understand there are different version of this program, which one do I need and do I need the plug in as well?
