Help with MORT PLAYER

I have an X51v and have both GS Player and Mort Player. On the GS Player there is a power saving option that will turn the screen off at 30 seconds (or whatever time you choose). Does this option exist on Mort Player? I have not found anything like a time setting as it is in GS Player to turn off the screen. I really like Mort Player, but I do not want to drain my battery while the screen remains on.

Any ideas?

Rob

You can go to MortPlayer "Settings" menu and go to the "Screensaver/Lock" section to configure turning off the screen. You can also map the screen on/off to a button in the "buttons" section

this would be the ideal solution, if not for the fact that it does not work with mortplayer. i press the button to turn off the screen, the screen turns off, then flashes back on in a few seconds. too bad.

Settings > Handling > Screen toggle, button lock > Turn off screen after...

You don't need to press a button to turn off the screen.

Bnlsn,

Thanks for your help. I did as you said and set my screen for 30 seconds until the screen shuts off. Worked perfect!
