Realplayer plug-in for BBC live

Can anyone point me to a Realplayer plug-in for Opera or PIE that will work with the BBC's live stream, please?

I don't think there is one...

If anyone can make it work, I'll make sure there is a decent amount of Beer sent in their direction

do u have anything specific on bbc that you want to access? i can sometimes get live streaming of radio or of headlines through windows media player, but it is a hassle, and might not be worth it but i'll leave that for u to decided, just run the streaming with windows media player option that is sometimes avaible on the site, goto properties, and copy that link to the asx file, load ur PIE enter in the address and it should work, although i only tried this after ur comment and i dont kno if this is helpful or not, but i got bbc five live radio running with no problems

I'd love to get the streams on the listen again section going (in particular radio7 and radio 4)

I use BBC7's listen again feature almost nightly on my x30high.

Simply download the RAM file to your memory card or device memory (its only about 4k) then open that from within realplayer PPC.. Et Voila, Comedy on tap!

notenufsleep,

Thanks, that's exactly what I've been trying, and failing, to do.

Where do I find the .asx URL?

You wouldn't need browser plugins if you can get the address that loads up RealPlayer externally.
I've tried the BBC7 content on http://dave.org.uk/streams/BBC%207.html and it works well on my x50v.

Coreplayer does look interesting, but will it play RealPlayer files and streams?

If it does I'll be first in line for it :)

This is a much easier way!
Just download & unzip this and store on your Axim, turn on WiFi, launch this (.asx) file...WMP or TCPMP will stream BBC TV for you!
Enjoy!

BTW, you can make a shortcut then launch this .asx file...Voila!

I hope, this part on the tcpmp.com site sounds good. It says that their player has:

Thanks, this saved me a lot of effort. I can't get the .asx for the full 1/6/10 o'clock news working though, you don't happen to have a version that does?
