objective:
play .rmvb files on computers hdd on axim through streaming. rmvb files are encoded at 500k.

catches:
i cant play the files by transfering them to my axim then opening through real player because realplayer apparently cannot play real media file overr 300k bitrate.
i dont want to convert the files as there are a lot of them and the quality is actually quite nice.

so is there any way i can view these files on my axim over my wireless network?

high bitrate rmvb does not fully support yet,
only certain Real format could play with Real One PPC,

yeah but can I stream them at a lower bitrate?

Maybe the only way is to have it encoded through windows media encoder on the fly to give you a nice streaming format?

actually i just that before posting here. it worked, but i can only play (stream) one file at a time.

is there a way to make windows media encoder more "controlable" .ie allow it to be paused resumed remotely/ load more than one file (playlist).
