My PDA is x51v with A12 rom. I'm looking for a music player supports AVCRP, I know wmp10 and pocket player 2.72 do support AVCRP, but I don't like them. Are there any other players also support AVCRP? My main purpose is playing mp3.
hmmm...
Can be that I am missing something here -
In what respect is TCPMP supporting AVRCP?
I can make it turn volume up and down but that happens local on the headset and not on the device - and that's about it.
With AVRCP I would like to be able to make pause/play/next/previous among others. I've talked to Picard (the main developer at corecodec for TCPMP) and until now there is no support for AVRCP if running on Windows Media Player 10 or later. If running on Windows Media Player 9 there is sporadic support by redirecting AVRCP events through the Media Player 9 skinfiles. This last setup is only explained on the CoreCodec Forum - I have not ben able to make it work. (my identity on the Corecodec forum is "Williams_Nest").

There is clearly a major difference here.
I'm now running TCPMP 0.71 as well - but on Windows Mobile 5 and with the Widcomm bluetooth stack from this forum. On the line where the setting should be it says something totally different. Either it is the OS that changes it or it is the Bluetooth stack that does it. I wonder if there is something as simple as a registry hack that could bring it up (and maybe make it work...)?

I'm running X50v, WM2003SE, and TCPMP version 0.71, standard X50v stack
As you can see I don't have that option in my Advanced Menu either.
I tried it on my X51v, WM5, TCPMP version 0.71, widcomm stack from this forum,
I have the same menu screen on the X51v also.
My bluetooth headset is Jabra BT620s, that may be the problem.

I've heard about people seing this setting - and if you make a "Dump Settings" (is in "File" - "About") and read the resulting tekst file the setting is visible - but unfortunately - turned off. I would hope there also was a "Upload Settings" as well:) Of course I tried the Google walk with the name of the setting - but all I got was a few sites with the very same "Dump Settings" file. I cannot believe it has anything to do with the headset.
This must be called a hidden setting
