avi vs. mp4
I ripped a few chapters of a concert on a DVD into DivX formats(4:3 ratio) with the sound going at 192kbps on mp3. The file was pretty big though. Then I ripping the same chapter into mp4 format and I get a very very similiar quality image but the sound sounds like crap compared to the avi format. but the file was pretty small compared to the avi. Is there anyway I can get the same sound quality on the mp4 the same as the avi?

What format and bit rate did you use for the sound on the second attempt?

Always read stuff that will make you look good if you die in the middle of it.
