Has anyone figured out how to open Ch4's live streams in windows media player?

When I log-in from PIE and start the mediaplayer, it briefly flashes a WMPlayer then returns to a blank black screen on the video page.

On a desktop machine, I can copy the stream URL to WMP and open it in a new player. However, I can't read the address of the asx url in PIE. Any suggestions how to find this url?

Use the same url you copy into wmp on the desktop. Just copy that url to the axim's wmp and it should work.

Thanks, but what I'm looking for is a way to extract the stream url from PIE, (so, I can do this with-out access a desktop machine). Catch22, if WMP actually connected, of cource, then I could read the connection property.

Do you know of any tools that will do this? (i.e. read the url that wmp is trying to connect to)

Having played with WMP9 [edit 10] on the axim, I now wonder if it's worth the effort. (no zoom modes, clanky interface etc.)

Anyone know of a better streaming media player (yes I have tried TCPMP)
