They are supporting many formats! All the way back to win 3.51! I thought win 95 was back far and most software dont support win 98 anymore.
If you know any Windows 3.51 users, you can tell the the good news that there is software that supports it for the fist time in ten years!

The question is if i know any windows 95 users still! Well, this could be worth some $ if its any good. The support for windows sounds great, b/c i am never getting bloated realplayer on my windows system, and quicktime wants me to get pro and an ipod! WMP is what i use now, but this player looks good. Can't wait till its done.

I think that the TCPMP is so good, that I don't see why I would buy CorePlayer if it is a Pay deal, and if it is free then I still don't no if I will upgrade.

The player was originally planned to be released in March, and it has been delayed many times. I'm just waiting for the page to change to "Coming this October" or something similar.

Can you provide a link to this version? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

So does anyone have any idea when the commercial version is coming out. I love the free one and would be very interested in looking at the commercial one.

I am wary of tcpmp going commercial. I don't care in any way about the apearance. I like the functionality. All of the best players and codec packs for the pc are free. I am suspicious of this new move. It will steam my buns if I have to start paying for the ability to play media encoded with the latest codecs. Like h.264. Will the new version of core player support that? I am now encoding all video with it. And the codec is free.

It is interesting times we live in.

just an update for you - www.tcpmp.com has gone, and it is now redirected to www.coreplayer.com. Also, there is now no "Coming this July", which suggests another delay :-(
