New option for Audio Book player (Bookmarking MP3s)
PocketMusic just released a new version of their feature pack, it has a bookmarking option. This is great for people who like to listen to audio books on their Axim. It allows you to mark your position in an MP3 file so you can easly and quickly return to an exact point in the file later after closing the player. This is a must have feature for listening to audio books in my opinion.
I was really dissapointed when I first got my Axim that I could not find a player to do this. I e-mailed 3 companies to find out if they had or would add this feature. Of the two companies that responded to my inquiry, PocketMind actually said they would add the feature to their next version. They even asked me for input as to how bookmarking should work. Less than a month after my inquiry they released the update with my requested bookmarking feature!
The feature pack costs $19 bucks and the basic player is free, but it is the only player I could find that has this feature for MP3 playback.
I don't work for them or represent PocketMind in any way, I was just excited that they would be so responsive, and I have seen a few threads on this site where people have been looking for this feature. Look no more.
