.mov video player

Are there any players that can play .MOV files? I believe this is a quicktime file. Preferably a free player. Thanks!

According to this page, http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/about, it doesn't support .mov. Or at least it's not listed.

Dont worry, it does. It supports many formats on the ppc.

I've been using TCPMP for years now but the most recent .MOV files I've downloaded tell me ERROR: Player: Video codec (AVC aka H.264) not supported by the player!

Is there a download for that?

You need an additional plugin for tcpmp which was used for version 0.66. have a look in www.rarewares.org.

Good luck

Thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately, still a no go.

They have the same plug in I used to use in v 6.6 there.

Is anyone playing .mov's on the pocket pc with the latest version of TCPMP?

Thanks.

.72 RC1 doesn't play some .mov files, even with the .66 plugin.
Heck, even Quicktime on my PC doesn't play them all.

I watched ABC World News that are sometimes in .mov and sometimes in .m4v. My TCPMP .72RC1 is working quite well with .mov files (with some still frames sometimes).

Did you try the .72RC1 version of the ffmpeg plug-in (http://corecodec.org/frs/?group_id=53&release_id=225)?
