I use FairUse to rip and convert my DVDs for watching on my X30h. Does anyone know of a good free utility, or hidden setting within FairUse, to combine two resulting .avi files? For instance, the Lord of the Rings films are on two discs each. Is there anyway to combine to two files into one large .avi file? Thanks.

You can probaly use window movie maker, it free with xp

If it's encoded exactly same resolution and stuff you can use virtual dub to quickly join them together. It's free.

Just append the files and use direct stream copy. easy.

virtualdub is probably one of the better windows avi editing applications out there, and its free!
