I will try that, but my old Logitech (same as HP I think) set worked w/ 1.5 just fine. My Motorola HT820 works w/ 1.5 also. What trouble did you have installing 1.6 over 1.5. any special steps? I prefer not to hard reset before installing it...
any links to threads? I did not see any with a search....unless it was in the 645 post BT thread....unless you just mean the general step-by-step instructions for installing the stack (1.5 or 1.6)

I just patched the RC6 "preview". I noticed I used "Windows Media Player" as window title instead of "Windows Media". Maybe this helps with the old Widcomm stacks...
Additionally, I fixed a small bug that caused the sample and bit rate wasn't shown sometimes...
Edit: Oops, missed to post it here... Sorry...
There's a "preview" of RC6 (i.e. there could be an "updated RC6" if something goes wrong...):
Setup CAB

When I installed, it did not get rid of the 1.5 stack, but since I didn't need the buttons, as I was using Mort, I just let it stay that way. The drivers are located at HP and were originally issued for their headphones, so a search for BT headphones should find it.
As for the thread here, I think following the step by step worked.

I tried the RC6, but no luck. I will uninstall Mort when I get home, install Broadcom 1.6, reinstall Mort, patch EXE with the latest file and give it a go....I will post my results. I can't wait to not stare at my blank-ass, album art-less TCPMP screen since I use OGG files and enjoy mypod in all its glory while using BT headphones!

You don't need to patch RC6. It contains the latest exe. I hope you didn't do that for your test - the latest b49 exe would have overwritten the changes...

Is there anyway of adding a feature where when you add a folder to a playlist it adds all its subfolders as well?

man-o-man!!!!! After a 3 hour battle with Broadcom 1.6, I finally have AVRCP working in everything EXCEPT MortPlayer again...
wm2003se, Broadcom 1.6.0.600, Mort RC6, x50v...PLEASE HELP :) I hate TCPMP for Audio! Mort is the ruler of my car, but TCPMP hangs around for office use since AVRCP doesn't work for me yet...

How about selecting "<Tree to playlist>" in the top folder (selected with "<Current directory>")?

Strange... If you use one of the test versions with debug messages, are there any plug-ins listed?

Another test... If you run the contained file on your PPC and press any BT buttons, do you get any LButtonDown/-Up messages?
