I went through the great tutuorial "How To: Encode Videos For Your PDA For Free" and thought I had succesfully gotten through the rough bit. I have a 490MB .avi file made and moved to my Sandisk Extreme III compactflash card. Now I have installed TCPMP .72 and it operates untill I try to open the movie file. It locks up and I have let it sit for up to ten minutes to no avail. I understand that this is a large file, should TCPMP lock up for an extended period of time?
Thanks for any help.

I don't even know how to find out what the bit rate is, but I don't need to now. I downloaded the fair use wizard and am stacking movies up on my flashcard . Thanks for your help. TCPMP is working perfectly.
