.avi file

Hello there, I've encoded a movie, I got a .avi file. Now : how do I see the movie in my Axim 50v ?

Hello Gigi, thank you for your time and pacience.
I used PocketDivXEncoder to get the .avi file, as you posted: I also downloaded TCPMP , it installed in my Axim, still when i want to see the movie, I get the message: there is no application associated with "VTS_01_1PocketPC". Run the application first, then open this file.......

Just do as it says. Open the application (TCPMP) and navigate to the file and open it.

it works !!!!

I had to open the program first
Still I got some glitches: at PocketDivXEncoder I deselect french and spanish, guess: I got the french sound track remedy ?.....
I got an old NEC 770, any clue about how to see the same .avi file ?

Before you encode to a .avi file using PocketDivxEncoder you have to rip the movie to you PC. It is with the ripper not the encoder that you select the sound track language. I use Smart Ripper (freeware) but there re many others.

Alternatively use a program like FairUse which rips and encodes all in one.
