Hello everyone!

I've just discovered a clever way to easily watch TV on my X50 WM5. I found some free WEB TV channels on the net, copied their URLs into a .txt document and then changed the http:// part to mms:// in the URLs. Now I just click on the address in word on my PPC and KABOOOM my Media player starts and starts showing that channel, LIVE!!!!

How about: BBC-News, Ministry of Sound, The Research Channel, Swedish music channel ZTV?

Copy it to your PPC. connect to your local network with internet and then open this document click the item you want to watch and Voila!

UPDATE:

I'd like to thank SolSie for the advice on making an asx-file that is copied to your SD card and used with your MP10 and which can later simply be clicked on in the library for fast access. I've created an asx-filw with several links within it and here it is: http://rapidshare.de/files/36879455/Web-TV.asx.html

I tried that, cozmoztintin, tapping on the BBC channel opened WMPlayer and sound played for a while but the picture came and went. It could be my broadband wifi signal which seems low at present. However, it definitely works, thanks again!


Edit: Wifi signal is fine now, and the streaming TV is good :)

You can also go to www.ppcvidz.com on your PPC and then click on Live TV for 100's of channels to pick from, plus there is also movie trailers and music videos that is also free to watch.
