I hv a problem using WMP/TCPMP to hear streaming audio.

When I use WMP, I need to set the address as "host:8080//" instead of "host:8080/" or "host:8080" to hear the streaming audio. Why is it so? I hv googled on this but can't find anyone having to add "//" after the port.

I hv also tried TCPMP, unfortunately I can never set it to work, no matter I set it as "host:8080", "host:8080/" or "host:8080//".

Any advice?

Download all the TCPMP codecs from the web site. Then in TCPMP player select options, settings, select page, file associations. I just select all to keep it easy. If you downloaded all the codecs there should be about 30 check boxes all with different file associations. This will play any type of file I am aware of!

Regarding TCPMP, I hv found the cause now. Actually it has already get connected but I can't hear anything for the first minute b'coz the buffer needs to be filled up yet.

So for TCPMP, I need to set http:address:8080
For WMP, I need to set http:address:8080// (don't know why but it works)
