I can only play a few of the movies from my desktop on my PDA right now because the Windows Media player on the PPC wont play certain files.

here's the files I want to play
.mpg
.avi
.mpeg

right now all i can play is .asf files

I guess I need something like win amp, it plays all these files on my desktop but im not sure they make that for my X30

Do a search for CorePlayer or TCPMP.

But I think you just need download codec for them.I think if you have k-lite codec,you can play them all and others.
