I use my X51V player to listen to audiobooks. Some of which are many hours long. I need a player that can set bookmarks. WMP doesn't. Some players I have seen do set bookmarks but are very awkward to use.

Can someone recommend a good, simple to set and retrieve bookmarks?

Sweet, this is now my new audiobook player.



Bookmarks: Contains all existing bookmarks and "Manage bookmarks".
After selecting a bookmark, the file is opened and playback starts at the contained position.
If the bookmark was set after a path or playlist was opened (list skip, favorites or "Other path/playlist"), this path/playlist will be loaded even if it isn't contained in the favorites. This way, you can continue audio books even if they're not in the favorites.
If the bookmark was set in an edited and unsaved playlist ("Playlist" is shown above the playlist), the track is only searched in the current playlist, and, if it's not there, appended to this playlist. This is to avoid that a huge directory content is read into the playlist for those pleople who put everything into only one directory but use playlists to group the files.
