On my old HP rx3115 I had a program called iPaq audio which allowed me to add bass and treble boost. I tried x50 mixer but it doesn't do the same thing, it doesn't give as much bass as iPaq audio did... Can anybody recommend a program similar to iPaq Audio?

Well, I suspect iPaq Audio and x50mix do the same function -- they adjust treble, bass and other audio adjustments on the sound controller rather than like say, adding a real-time effect. But, I'm afraid that the audio controllers in the two PDAs are different so the closest thing you can get is x50mix. Since it's all done in hardware, the extra oomph from the bass you're looking for may simply be out of the range of what the driver will let you do unfortunately.

Get a headphone amplifier and all your problems will be solved. You can throw your wallet away too cause there won't be any money left in it.

GSplayer (it's free) allows equalizer, bass, pre-amp, etc etc etc.

Ok, well I got it more or less to the point I wanted using both x50 mixer and GSP but I'm still open to suggestions. Thanks guys.
