Where do you get videos of TV shows?

Is there a place on the net that has videos of TV shows that you can watch on your Axim? (I'm guessing not because of copyright issues.)

So, if a person had a DVR is there a way to record the show yourself and then transfer it from your DVR to your computer?

What if you buy a capture card and use your computer as a DVR, does the software store the video in a file format that can be used on the Axim?

I think it would depend on the DVR, but it should be possible.

That would work too, depends on what software the capture card uses, it would probably store the videos in a "less than pda friendly" format (the file sizes would probably be very large), but there is plenty of video converting software around to use to fix that.

Most TV shows are uploaded to UseNet News. Usually a few hours after they are broadcast. Try alt.binaries.multimedia for starters.

The easiest way to download the ready made (wmv format) here!
After that you can venture to get the videos from YouTube, Google Video, DailyMotion etc..
