i found this software called limewire that has tons of free songs but they are all in mp3 so they are like 6megabits huge but i cant find a free convertor any ideas.

6megs per song isnt that huge and the quality should be still very good at the bitrate it is now probaly at 128 which is what you want for high fidelity unless your hearing is really bad

Just some points

1) Converting from mp3 to wma will result in a loss of quality, the loss may not be definable but you will be degrading the music. 6megs per song is resonable quality and making them smaller as well converting to another format will make them sound awful.

2) Downloading music without paying for it via programs like Limewire is illegal and you can face criminal charges for doing so. The songs are not free, you are obtaining them illegally.

3) This site does not allow talk of software or other piracy, which you are admitting to by saying that you are using Limewire to download "free" songs.
