USA Today leaving Avantgo

Well as I have mentioned in the past I'm a big fan of Avantgo.

Yet as I heard today USA Today is leaving Avantgo.

Its a shame that Avantgo has been losing a lot of good content over the past few years, but its to be expected as providers develop their own models for distributing content over the web.

In your case (and mine), Steelpirate, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has an Avantgo channel that is updated frequently. MSNBC and Reuters have some pretty good national "USA Today-ish" content, I think.

Good to hear from a fellow fan. I actually meant to ask what a good substitute for AG is. The latest beta release doesn't work for me (6.2.146), so I went back to 6.2.52, and everything works fine now.:)

USA Today is now on MobilePlay :)

The only thing is you're going to have to do 3 syncs on your 1st set-up to get the content.
