I've now posted all of the BBC Listen Again RealAudio rtsp streaming links for every BBC radio station at the Beebotron site (along with the easy way to download and save any of the .ra url files, should you wish to retain anything for your perusal, delectation and delight after the 7-day BBC Listen Again timeout period).

Although I made the site because of problems with Axims with WM5 playing BBC Listen Again links, this post is obviously a blatant plug for Beebotron. For which I humbly apologise in advance of any flak ...

However, as I've been working on Beebotron for PsionAndy's benefit (he asked for the BBC 7 links on a different thread) for the last few days (even with severe fluffyhangoverness due to Christmas etc) I'm hoping that you'll be nice to me.

By the way, the site Beebotronically updates a bit of itself a few times an hour, so it should be reasonably up to date.

You might want to contant BBC and ask their permission first. I'm pretty sure that you're breaking their TOS with your site, and BBC is not very sympathetic. Or, you might get lucky and they'll pay you for what you've done- as you certainly have added value to their streams once you have made them available to a wider audience.

Interesting comment Dotan, and I did think a bit before releasing the site on the net.

As far as I can see, I'm not infringing any copyright - I'm not resupplying any copyright material from the BBC.

I'm only reposting information which is in the public domain. It may be somewhat circuitous to obtain, but it's there - which is how I got it (and not by scraping their site). Therefore my site is a bit like Amazon - it points you at a book, but doesn't publish the contents.

Finally, and here's the crunch bit, the real reason I did this was because the Beeb Listen Again site, quite frankly, doesn't work with a pocket pc on WM5. When it does, I'll happily withdraw my Beeb site links.

I would be grateful for thoughts on the above, especially from someone from the Beeb.

I'm not going to approach the Beeb - I guess someone there will get to know what's going on - I'll let them come to me.
