Pocket DVD Wizard

Hi people. Has anyone tried the Pocket DVD Wizard software? They claim that it is easy to use, which would be nice. (some of the other ways of getting dvd's onto
a PDA seem a bit long/ confusing).

Have you tried Fairuse, which is free and easy to use?

My sister tried first time; so easy; took 2 hours & took 2 movies with her on her vacation. Said it was definitely user friendly plus excellent quality movies.

I tired a trial which only gives a few minutes so do not really know how it is. I bought SPB Mobile DVD and am unhappy with it as it will not compress movies. I kept trying to set the size I wanted but the program ignored that size setting and made them movies over 1 MB. I went back to Fairuse since I can get two movies on a 1 GB card.

I trialled Pocket DVD Wizard, PocketDVD Studio & Spb Mobile DVD, on the same piece of the same DVD and the compared the results:

Found PocketDVD Studio gave the best quality and had the most features allowing you to customise the way you rip the DVD (yet it is still relatively easy to do) and what sort of output you get. PocketDVD Wizard was OK on quality, limited on features (could not find how to set to produce 640 x 420 output) and took the longest time to rip the DVD. Spb Mobile DVD is new and therefore is still growing but also gave reasonable quality.
