Real media requires the RealOne Mobile player located at http://www.realnetworks.com/mobile/player/ppc/

Be advised that it's essentially beta software, and does not work well at all.

it is a total waste of time the best thing to do is get a windows media encoder and encode the movies for your wmp for pocket pc.

That doesn't work. A video file is not a video file is not a video file, to paraphrase an old adage. You can't take a .ram (or any other video filetype) and simply rename it to .wmv and *poof* it's magically re-encoded as a Window Media Video file (or other video filetype). Each video format needs a compatible player, and the PPC platform only has very few players out there yet that handle multiple formats.
