Program that will play .avi's?

Just got my axim today. First ppc. Got a question!

I encoded a bunch of small .avi vids, and none of them will run in windows media player of pocket tv.

What program (or anything else) do i need to run these? Or will i have to re-encode them to something else.

I used virtual dubb to do it, and though i did save as .avi the files are still .mpegs i think im not sure. Hopefully you guys will understand.

Thanks, ill look for it. Hope it doesnt cost money. Probably does though im sure.

Does anyone know an all in one program for vids/audio? If i get this one thats 3 diff programs im using.... kind of annoyin.

update: didnt work =( it does play my .mpegs smoother then pocket tv though so im replacing pocket tv with this one. When isave things from vdub i select save as .avi and use mpeg v2 or something, which one should i be using if this is incompatible/

sorry to bump this topic but is anyone aware of a media player for pocketpc that actually WILL play avi's from a digi camera? we have a konica digital camera (revio kd100) that we want to record short instructional clips on, then transfer over to the axim (hey - handy! they both have a sd slot).

you can imagine how stupid i look when the damn clip refuses to play on media player/pocket mvp, but will on my desktop/laptop

help

What codec is your camera recording with? I'll just about guarantee that's the problem. A lot of cams seems to use that silly MJPEG codec, and no PPC media players can support it yet.
