How to compress movies

I am just wondering how to compress home videos so that they could fit into my dell axim. If there is a program or website that offers this, could you please reply to this question.

I personally use Windows Media Encoder. It's free from Microsoft, and converts almost any file, into a WMV, specifically for Pocket PC. You have a few choices about audio quality and video size. It's simple and fast.
