I love TCPMP. I use it for video and audio. And I don't care about skins because I turn of yhe screen during music to save battery. So skins mean nothing to me.

Hey guys,
I actually figured out that you can "FIND FILES" in a storage card, which is great!
Now, only one problem is left in GSplayer. PLEASE HELP! I want to make this my default player!!!
Does anyone have problems with playing songs in GSplayer, where when you play a song, it doesn't advance to play the next song!?

I love TCPMP since ..
- It covers many codecs, extra downloaded from its site. It seems only AAC and M4A audio codecs are not supported.
- It facilitates many options for users to choose.
- It has no bug.

Does someone have a link for downloading TCPMP? I've tried to get their website several times and my browser always times out with no connection. I just tried it again with the same result.
These are some of the links I've tried, from the top of the Google search results: tcpmp.corecodec.org/
tcpmp.corecodec.org/download
corecodec.org/projects/tcpmp
I've never succeeded in getting thru to any of these.
Thanks, Wayne

You should be able to download it from this mirror:

Excellent thread, will link in from my forthcoming WM Multimedia Bible! :)
(also, to compare any kind of wmedia players, you may also want to take into account their power consumption. Please see my related article at the Applications forum here at AximSite.)

MortPlayer may be functional, but it is ugly as hell, even with the best skins.

I use GSPlayer, I copy MP3s on my PC from a tree of directories into a single directory on my CF Card using a Perl script. I do this every morning from podcasts I download each morning.
Here is the that post:

They all sound great but I am looking for one that is easy to use in the car to play audio. I want one with big buttons that will allow me to use my finger to pick songs and hit play. Which is the best with that in mind?
thanks

Already downloaded but not tested yet; will definitely do in the next 2 weeks.
BTW, based on IBE Group's subpar apps and games so far (see my related reviews), I seriosuly doubt it's ANY good. It SURELY has major problems.

Anyone tried Voice command software for controling Media Player, etc. in car?
eg http://www.handango.com/PlatformProd...96806&R=199594
Playing around with a PDA might be classed similar to using a mobile phone when driving - illegal in the UK.
Also, I see I am not the only one that does not bother with playlists. Would be nice just to click on a folder and have the contents play.
