New to multi-media

I'm looking into downloading a movie viewing platform. However, I dont know which one to get Core Player, or TCMPM? Are they the same? If I get TCMPM, what version should I have with my x51v? If I get core player, which version is more stable?

Thanks in advance!!!

TCPMP is the freeware version and predecessor of CorePlayer. It should work just fine on the X51v. I would install the latest version (0.71) for optimal performance:

Hey thanks Borgyn, Noiro, and Gigi. Makes perfect sense now. Braddish's tutorial is superb. So this made me interested. Now is it worth downloading the plugins also? I see alot of plugins that are available.

Also how much RAM does this software rip from the axim?

Thanks for the support!

You should know that the paid version 'calls home': a feature that I hate. I don't recommend the paid version for that reason. Otherwise, it's really good software.

Dotan- if you'd bothered to check the program out.. It doesn't call home. Hell, it doesn't have any online functionality yet. You could at least research the bugger before bashing it - you're sounding like Eric12341 now
