i really want to use the active synch option in WMP10. I want to be able to synch my axim just like itunes does it with ipods. unfortunetly every time i want to upload my music collection (all mp3s - most are unprotected) about 75% of the time they fail to upload. next to the song it says "error" and that's it. oh and i upgraded my desktop windows media player to version 11, if that means anything.

Did you have trouble upload also _before_ the upgrade?

no i have not tried syncing before the upgrade.

Try syncing only the unprotected files. If that works, then write to Microsoft and tell them how DRM is affecting your use of devices and files that you legally purchased.

yeah i rolled back to version 10 but it would not even recognize my axim x51v, and yes i tried syncing only unprotected mp3s but i still get the same problem - more than half my files give me an error
