Small video files????

Does anyone know how to get a movie that is about 100 mins. into less than 32mb of space, and have it still be viewable? I have a 256mb cf card, and I might get a 32mb sd card, so with the free space, I could have 2 movies for when I go on vacation. I got a 100min into 15mb with windows media, but it was HORRIBLE!!!!!!! you couldn't even see the people's faces......they were just smudges! I need something to watch on the 8 hour car ride to Zion National Park from San Diego..........
Thanks

yea, but just the sound for something like that will take a huge portion of it. So you're left with little space for video which would mean an absolutely horrible encode.

If you want a decent movie to watch - 250Mb is a minimum - at least for me...
A typical 110min movie ~ 300Mb

29min40sec vid @ 104KBps full screen using Movie Maker 2 converting it to wmv format and it took up 22MB of SD memory space.

Ok...I tried a 100 min. movie at 56kb/s and the total file size was like 21mb. It is better video than the first time I encoded it, but it is still hard to see the people in it.

Wow....that is very low quality. I've never even attempted anything like that.....of course, I'm a stickler for quality.

I understand that. Especially if it is a movie you really like.

I just realized that one of my videos is encoded at 1514Kbps for a 4Min 13sec music vid and takes up 24.1MB on my mem card. I got to re-encode it because it is choppy at full screen.
