Netflix & Axim

I just signed up for Netflix and wonder if it is possible to transfer the movies on to my axim to watch on train. Or are they protected?

there are a plethora of programs that will convert DVDs to some other smaller format (divx, xvid, etc). search the aximsite for ways to do this.... i can't quickly find the link. prefer a program called AutoGK - its powerful but not the *most* user friendly. there are several "one-click" products as well. you put in the DVD, tell it what size and resolution you want, click GO - mow the lawn - come back, done.

good luck!

Ethan

PS do this at you own risk this is just what i do that doesnt make it right

DVDs from netflix are regular dvds. if you know how to convert dvds to a portable format then you'll have no trouble doing the same with netflix's dvds.

of course you are not supposed to do this since you don't actually own the dvd but. to answer your question, yes there are ways to remove whatever protection those dvds have.
