.amr to mp3

Hey, I'm trying to get a .amr sound file off of my Sony Ericsson phone to my computer and convert it to mp3 format.
It is a 10 min recording using the sound recorder on the phone. I need to get it into some burnable format for playback on a typical cd player.
Any suggestions?????

I don't even know what the .amr extention is!?

Do a search on www for a converter, there are a few about, you may have to part with some greenbacks. TCPMP appears to be able to appeat amr files.

Your question got me curious on the topic and my search led me to the link below. Maybe you already found it also. Anyway, this gets .amr to .wav; from .wav to .mp3 you can audacity or others.
