Convert VOB to MPEG 1,2
Anyone know of any free programs that converts VOB to Mpeg 1,2?? Finally converted the VHS tapes to DVD. Boy I looked cute as a kid, what happened?? Thanks in advance for the help...........

I'm not sure if this is completely free, but take a look here at Magicdvdripper. I believe it can convert VOBs to MPEG 1,2 and 4.

VOB files are one of DVD formats. If the DVD has provided language and subtitle options, the common software can only get the default language and does not show the subtitle.
If your VOB files are only one language and one subtitle, you can try SUPER from www.erightsoft.com. It has three encoders. For VOB files, mencoder plus direct show should be OK. | ||||||
